What is Reiki?

 

The meaning of Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is “universal life-force.” It is the Japanese word for the energy that is in all living things and all around us. Reiki therapy is a powerful, but gentle, form of energy medicine. It is a spiritually-guided healing art.

Reiki therapy supports and encourages the body’s ability to heal itself from illness and injury. This treatment is for people (and animals) of any age. There are no negative side effects associated with the therapy. It works well with traditional medicine and can even enhance its effectiveness.
